I like it! Electric instant water heater on the right? Did you buy that valving/accumulator/pump setup as an assembly? Looks real nice man.

Yeah, I started laying out all the components needed and ran across this panel on sale, there was like about $100 difference so I went with assembly. The unit on the right is like a tankless water heater but it's designed for use as a radiant floor heater.

I'm having a similar reaction.... I'm drooling on the notes on my desk that say past due.....

That manifold assembly really made it a piece of cake by the looks of it. Super cool man.

Have you tested it out?

No, still waiting on power. The inspector should be there today. If he signs off I can get power turned on.

Everything passed rough in. 😁

Final is scheduled for Thursday. Not quite sure why it has to be two separate visits though.

So, qq on electrical permits. Are you pulling the permits, and running everything yourself, or paying a sparky to do it? Curious more than anything. The Durham code reads like they only allow licensed electricians to work an electrical permit.

Pulled permits and Doing all electric work myself. If you're not the homeowner you must be a licensed electrician.

I did the same. Was very satisfying knowing I knew every route of wiring and that it was properly spec'ed. Well done.

passed final. yeah!! now waiting on duke to energize.

Duke energy came out this morning and installed the meter. Got the lift working and bled and aligned. Dipty was the first patient. Pulled the head this morning and found thst the block was good. Dropping the head off the machine shop this week to get it check out.

Congrats Eric, your life will never be the same.

One suggestion, get yourself a tall stand and use it on the rear cross member or rear bumper. Makes things a whole lot more stable and safe.

You can see it here in the back of the photo
