Dash lights and your reverse lights no longer work ...... Sad day. You shouldn't have to mess with too much on the compushift. I calibrated my TPS and I guess I did change a few of the basic settings like its a low rpm diesel instead of high rpm gas. Maybe there is a number of gears setting. I did have to have the power and second start buttons plugged in for it to work too if you have those. Maybe some power goes through them.

Ok I'll try the power button, if I get this and the random start thing figured out, it's going for exhaust tomorrow, cnorm what muffler did you use, I want it kinda quiet.

X 2... I meant to ask same question regarding exhaust, muffler and maybe a pic or 2 of the routing of it...

A magnaflow (like a 24" Long) has been recommended to me a couple times, good sound and not too loud...

When I looked on their website it was only showing a 4" dia. In/out... Will 4" exhaust fit? Especially from muffler back?

Thanks to anyone who chimes in that has already done the exhaust stage

:)

got the trans shifting, went through the throttle position sensor tuning steps again, scrolled through all the tuning settings and now it works.
uncovered another problem, my alternator isnt charging, I stuck the toyota guts in the dodge as per Dustin's instructions.
I hate electrical stuff!
no gear selector lights
no reverse lights
no hazard flashers

my harness didnt come back with the oil pressure sensor, I'm not too thrilled about running the truck without knowing I have oil pressure.
how much trans fluid does the tranny hold? I've put a gallon in it and never drained it.

OK I used dodge alternator and an external voltage regulator.
Yea dash gear light and reverse lights don't work. Pain in the A. He is suppose to be getting reverse lights working soon but no dash lights.
Hazards is odd. Mine worked out the gate.
Oil pressure sender is part of the harness that goes along the core support. Comes from around headlight and washer bottle. That should have not been sent out.

Trans holds 3 gallons

Oh and as far as exhaust I just got what the guy had in for a 3" for a mid quiet. I almost wish I would have just strait piped it.

Routing was down between the frame and trans. Its a tight squeeze but it fits muffler is after the xfer case before Axel and it hoops up and over the Axel and turns out the passenger side. Nothing fancy

Factory alarm? I removed mine post swap. The brain is up in the DS kick panel and there was another box under the DS seat.

OK I used dodge alternator and an external voltage regulator.
can you provide the details of the external regulator and how you wired it in?

I dont remember the part number I just got it from napa and the pig tail that goes with it but the wiring was like this.

Same set up as me. Although I have no clue what it's doing. All I know is if it's unplugged my tach doesn't work.
