Since work has finally settled down a little and I have more time, I have gotten back in Marley mode.Several things that didn't get done before the move are getting some attention now.

I still like to protect Marley from the elements and with the continuous falling tree limbs here in East Texas. SO, unfortunately I cut down the roof rack to get in the garage. Got it repainted and need to put it back on.

I plan to remove the 4 rack lights and replace them with the new pair of 7" on the bumper. Changed out the H3 bulbs in the 7" lights to the brighter super white 100W/ 4500 lumen bulbs. I'll post up pics after i get everything wired and the new auxiliary fuse panel is wired up.

It feels good to be able to work on Marley again.

Spent a little time this afternoon mounting and wiring the new 7" lights, rocker switch, supertone horns and playing with winch etc...

Lights look great IMO and the horns are super loud compared to the OEMs, (HUNGOVER NEIGHBORS WERE LOVING ME EARLIER...:D HA!!!). Finally made use of a knock out for the rocker switch too.. :)

I will go for a drive tonight or tomorrow and adjust the lights but they are pretty close going off the garage wall.

Smart routing of the winch cable to keep everything tight and non-rattling.

I noticed the shackle rattling the other day so decided to try this out.

Had to throw up some pics for you J...I have a few more things to do, like build the BBQ pit for the ladder receiver on the back!!!:grinpimp:

Hope all is good in Pagosa Springs for you J...

Damn those 7" lights look HUGE!!! I plan to get a pair of Hella 500FF or Bosch Compact 100s to put on the front bumper...

Check out http://www.otrattw.com/products.php?cat=34&pg=3 for some seriously cool looking switches and seem pretty reasonably priced too.. Instead of the plain ole daystar ones.

They are, but same size as headlights.. Here is one more at a lower shot. Still big but not too bad.. Glad she didn't get me the 9" HA!

Thanks for the rocker switch link... Unfortunately, I have SEVERAL Daystars in various colors from past projects.

See now it looks pretty good on a modified/aftermarket bumper like yours but put that on my puny stock bumper and it may crumple under the sheer size of the lights...LOL...
Eventually, one day, long down the road, I will have an aftermarket bumper but for now the stockers will have to do. Now if I can only find some good front end caps for the bumper with bolts that are not $40+ each.....

Phew! Just read all 45 pages in one sitting. Your Cruiser build is definitely an inspiration--I'll probably be borrowing a few ideas once I finally get a chance to really start working on mine. Keep up the great work!

Thanks L, Feel free to use anything in my build. Once ya start ya can't stop :D

On another note.. Ordered a set of twin sticks from Georg at Valley Hybrids. I like the idea of a more positive shift. Yes I know about the 2 LO mod but, I like this better.

Buy a Silver Star, I'll send you mine... you pay shipping.
J was nice enough to be the first to befriend me on this forum, due to my (IMHO) "obvious need to learn"...
So via his thread, I would like to help another 'Mudder out, a 'Mudder who has helped me in regards to informative help and courtesy. Shoot me a PM if interested.
J, I hope you don't mind the slight hijack, sir. I would help you any way that I can, but I would only slow you down... :D :flipoff2:

Your rig is gorgeous! Nice job!

Thanks for the compliment BCG, I still have several things I want to do and always looking to help others and looking for the next project. A PIG is my next project goal but if a HZJ75 showed its head I'd back burner the 55 ...

My buddie just sold his hzj75!

OMG DREADY!!! IS IT REALLY YOU! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! Good to hear from you. How's the boy and wife...

I saw his "for sale thread" . Man, did I want his rig, but a little out of the price range for me.

Glad to see your still kicking and need an update on Luarita too.

LOL yup J we all like to pay it forward here. Don't worry I don't have much off the cruiser yet but have offered up some of my smog stuff that was still in decent condition, no takers though. That is what makes this a great community!!
