I'm going to try and refurb my stock ones, mostly because they have the stock wiring on them that attaches to my harness. I think it might be for a seatbelt indicator.

Looking at my photos I have to say they look like **** now that the top is on. I need to get some better lighting or something.

you are correct - that wire is for the seat belt buzzer. Let me know if you send yours out somewhere - I'm looking to get some 3-point ones restored as well.

Amazing work. I've been checking up on your build for months now. Glad you kept it mustard.

Thanks! Yeah me too, the mustard definitely grew on me and now I can't see it any other color. Although I think my next one will be flat Capri blue;)

AntFJ I might need your help with where the buzzer goes, is behind the dash?

it is a little black plastic guy that goes behind the heater duct under the glovebox. You might have to take the duct off to get back there iirc.

Mind-blowing work! Awesome thread.

Does it look like a small speaker???? I came across something like that when I installed my carb cooling fan relay....

It's a rectangular black plastic box that a terminal can plug into. Ivan snap a pic for you if you need it. I'll post photos of mine getting installed also.

Here is better lit pic of the seat backs, they look flat but are the same color as the rest of my pewter stuff and have a nice subtle silver flake in it.

Thanks bud and looking spectacular..................

Looks like it is also for the seat belt buzzer on ToyotaPartsZone. Anyone know where this should bolt too?
