Another 77 FJ40 resto

Finished routing the brake lines and clutch line with the brackets I had zinced, can anyone confirm if this is the correct orientation.

Got the rest of my stuff back from the powder coaters, including the air cleaner which came out much, much better.

Also put together my brake/clutch pedal assembly and will hopefully install my master cylinder today.

Just realized I should install my wiring harness before installing my pedal assembly. I have been dreading the harness refurb, but with Coolermans go bys I think I should be able to accomplish it.

I installed a fuel filter bracket I got from the classifieds and got a oem fuel filter from Cruiser Corps to replace my aftermarket filter set up . Can anyone tell me if I have the orientation right and which line goes where?

You got it on there correct. The orientation could move just a touch towards the firewall, but thats just the way mine was.

I got everything done on the dash tonight except for just a couple things. Tommorow I will take some good pics and post them up. I learned you want to install the choke, Warm Pull and Fresh Pull first before putting any of the other dash knobs on. Those 3 have a lock nut (17mm) that requires a hydralic line wrench. You can"t get in there to work if you have all the other knobs installed. I learned the hard way....

Thanks, best advice I got from Georg (Orange45) was to buy a California Cruiser to start with. Still need to tackle that wiring harness

I am waiting for your run of the fuel line. I have a hacked 78 with a Small Block Chevy/700r4 swapped in. I'm at the point where I have have the tank in and I don't know where the stock fuel line ran. Any suggestions acpted.

Larry, I'll try and get the lines to the fuel pump done by Sunday, I have my kids indoor soccer games all day today. Still need to tackle my wiring harness, I feel like I'm on the edge of a cliff making up excuses of why not to jump into the ocean...

Sorry still have not got to the fuel lines but will do them this week.

Got the last of my stuff from the platers, turned out great! Hooked up my throttle pedal and all my linkage up, replaced all the nylon washers that I could. Works very smooth. Also got back my correct fuel line holders that I bought from the classifieds, looks much better, love stock. Big thanks to Jstncse, AWESOME seller and hooked me up with a bunch of stuff I needed.

Started bolting down some miscellaneous stuff just to get it out of the way. And through some of the zinc stuff on my master cylinder.

Still need to tackle the wiring harness but I'm feeling confident lately

More pics, also forgot that I wired wheel down my seat bottoms and got some primer on them. Hopefully I can get a couple gloss black enamel coats down so I can drop everything off to the upholsterer.

Thanks Delmer, got a couple nice coats of black gloss on the seat bottoms. The rest of the hardware and brackets were all powder coated and came out very nice. Going to drop off all the seats, New SOR foam and Cruiser Corp seat covers off to the upholster this week. Still got a long to do list, but it getting shorter
