Hey everyone,

Well I am finally posting up some pics of my new ride. Its running pretty good, needs a carb adjustment and an exhaust leak leak fixed to be nearly at 100% mechanically.

I just ordered an ARB front bumber and the last 60 series rear bumper IPOR had. Lance had to take it off of his dads cruiser to sell it to me. Thanks Dude!

I am going to give it a rattle can job after some prep work, and an OME lift (heavy/med) I will keep adding to this thread as the parts arrive and progress is made.

great start for a trail truck. ugly but still nice.

Good luck with the work! I look forward to seeing it in person. Let me know if you need any help.

Sure did, Pathfinder from Ormond beach, FL. That baby made a 500 mile straight shot to NC without a single problem.

I know one other mud member owned it (from TX) but cannot remember who, hopefully he will see it and chime in. I have some ???'s he may be able to answer.

Hey Ray,

I will be in touch, are you going to stay in town or are you leaving after your terminal?

Trail truck? hell Cruisin, this beotch is my DD. I've got a 40 for the trails.

Yeah not pretty, I'll give you that, but a little time and $ will fix that.

id leave it ugly and spend more money on toys.

id roll it.

I'll be here. I'm workn' like a slave on my house right now, and I've got to look for a new place, but I've got plenty of work to do on my cruiser before I leave town. Shoot me a p.m. when you want to meet.

Can't wait to see your rattle can job.
How many miles on it?

There was a thread on here with when the previous owner did that job on the rh rear. It was replaced due to an accident.

But darn if I can find it...

I bought that rig from a man in Broomfield, CO. I had it for a short time. I sold it to Pathfinder, who drove it to TX, then to FL. Now it is in NC! Excellent, dude! Do me a favor: drive it to Hatteras, snap a picture of it on the beach, and post it. I used to go to Hatteras when I was a boy. Seeing that Cruiser on the Outer Banks would do my heart some good!

Lances Dad is going to pissed when he finds out! LOL!

It is common for the gasket that connects the back of the "J" pipe on the EGR pipe to blow out. It will be connected on the drivers side towards the back of the exhaust manifold between #5 & #6 cylinder. You can generally feel the air coming out and yes it is a pain to replace.

That crunched rear quarter was on that truck when I bought it. I believe that the guy I bought it from was the original owner. There is a dealer badge on the tailgate - "Stevenson" or something.

I bought it on ebay. When my wife saw it, she was not happy, mostly because it was sort of a homely looking thing. But it ran good. It has a nice personality!

I paid for a lot of work to be done on it. The motor and tranny were sound. I think the clutch got replaced after I sold it.

I sometimes wish I still had it. I like '60's as much as I like '62's.

Hey Rigger, thanks for posting up this info. Now I remember your name, Pathfinder told me you were a PO but I couldn't remember who he had told me.

Why did you sell it?

Thanks Danimal I will look into it this weekend. Can you point that out on a $OR diagram for me? I will try to put one up here in a minute.
