I think that FJ60 deserves a good paint job. It has served its previous owners well, and it would look BEAUTIFUL with the original blue.

Well fork over 2k and I will make it happen bro!

Just kidding, I am still contemplating the rattle can vs paint booth on base. I am going to stick with the original blue though.

If you do a lot of the prep work, including removing EVERYTHING, and towing it to the booth, the price would be a lot less than 2K usd...

MAN! If I had the money, I would give everyone on here their Cruiser Allowance... :grinpimp:

Hey Rigger, thanks for posting up this info. Now I remember your name, Pathfinder told me you were a PO but I couldn't remember who he had told me. Why did you sell it?

It simply needed more help than I could provide. The project was more than I felt I could manage.

The white fenders, quarter panel, seats, shocks, came from a parts car that I had. It was quite a story about pathfinder buying this rig, flying to Billings, MT, and driving it back to Texas, through a winter storm.

X2 on that. His thread on it was a good read.

Toyrod, you are the Cruiser Good Samaritan!!

Well I am satisfied with Pathfinders work that is for sure. The interior is in damn good shape too.

Yeah my 500 mile trip on I-95 in great weather is a joke compared to what he had to go through. This old rig has been a few places thats for sure. Thank you Toyrod for that bit of info.

Hopefully you all will enjoy watching this rig get set up right. I am going to get on it this weekend. My POR-15 package came in today so I am happy about that.

You know, you beat me to that cruiser by a few hours I think. I was emailing him about buying a ticket when he said someone beat me to it! I'm glad it went to someone who's going to finish the project. Good luck with the build!!

The old girl looks better already! Glad to see that she is getting the attention I could not give her. Look forward to seeing her completed. Sounds like you have some big plans. Keep it up!
