Wheel spacers when on last night. - They make me nervous, they push the wheels out quite far (and i inly got the 1.25" ones) I wonder what the danger of connecting with the fender is? :meh:

Time to test those bump stops properly!!!!

Unfortunately the CV boot camps are leaking (to be expected) and I only noticed now so quite a lot has leaked out the inner boot on both sides. Im going to pull the boot tomorrow morning repack in some Greece and hose clamp them back on.

I have an appointment with Toyota for Sunday to have CV's serviced on both sides. ;p

Stoked to see how it looks with the 35s.

Which tires are you putting on? And why?

Here you go

Becuase they are all that I can get here. (They came stock on H2's and F150 Raptoprs so they are the only 35's available)

That just looks amazing. The 35s and spacers are a great combo.
I'm thinking about getting 1.25 or 1.5" spacers.
Have any side profile pics with the 35s and spacers on?

Get 1" spacers, the 1.25" spacers put the BFG's on the fender, im going to have to body lift or have them milled down to 1" to prevent my tyres taking off the fenders.

measly updates on the princess :princess:

My standard chopped roof rack is on and an LED light bar is on the way for the front.

(yes I still have the running boards on for the women in my life!)

I also really need some UCA's, extended bump stops, the diff drop and a body lift but I just havent had time to sort it all out.

Im off for a big camping trip this weekend with some FJ's so there will be pics some Monday!

I don't mean to thread jack, but I don't understand the "need" for UCAs.
What do aftermarket UCAs do for you?

Not going to get too into it here, search the forums. I want them for the additional down travel and to bring the alighnment back to stock

Yup its factory, you push in the end of the right hand wiper leaver. The middle east spec Qatar cruisers seem to have a whole bunch of funny factory kit.

- Back light kcik plates
- Foot well and A pillar lighting
- Leather was only supplied on the VXR on request
- Sub tanks where standard
- Arm rest fridge

The LX470s have foot well and center counsel accent lighting as well, but man I didn't know they had sub tanks too! Do you have one? How does it function? Is there a switch to fill up your main tank from the sub? Is there a factory location sub tank switch? I had no idea the 100's ever had a arm rest fridge I thought that was only in the 200's. I think you need to post more photos of your interior... lol

I wonder if there is a way for us to order the headlight washers and control stick here from the US? Same as for the sub tank, been thinking of building my own but I always go for Toyota made if I can.

Btw, your truck looks great!

While .......

I also had a look at the "ambient lighting" inthe fenders and on the B-pillars as well as the kick plates, they look VERY factory fitted. anyone ever seen them before on a VXR?

Nice build

Hi My LC has the same ambient lights except for the illuminated door sills.
Mine is a Mexican market spec LC.
Did your door sills came with the truck or were did you sourced them from?
I blew the fuse that runs their circuit and have not found the fuse in the standard fuse boxes.
If you where to come across that info it would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea what has happened to all of my picture links.

Sorry guys, please just have a look through my gallery for all of the pics.

That's a shame. You had some real good useable pictures. It's a real loss to the tech subject.

Its still out there in pdf form. You can google: ih8mud + gunney + torsion and the first thing that pops up is a pdf.

I saved it and it is attached. Unfortunately I'm going to have to do this.
