We're the whole gang out here on Cape Fear. Next week is tough for me, and then I'll be in Asheville through the 8th, but what do you guys say?

@RedHeadedStepChild let us know when you will be in Asheville. Maybe meet for dinner one nite in Hendersonville. Look of Hanna Flanagan's in Hendersonville.

I'm driving out next Friday. I'll be running the Asheville Spartan Super all day Saturday, then cruising back Sunday.
Driving out or in works for me, whats better for you?

Well, technically, Jim, you and Forrest and Sarah and I did everything in your thread title one night last year in a dark, cheap hotel parking lot.

You make a good point...
Thread title updated accordingly.

You should reach out to @Phares. He's into that Spartan stuff. Lives in Huntersville.

Hello fellow beach dwellers! I've been around 4x4's for nearly my entire 49 years, lol. I was bitten by the LC bug last year, and it's Bad! It seems I dream of what I can do to it, I spend my days "fidgeting" with it, and I spend my evenings on sites, such as this, figuring out what I need to accomplish on this vehicle!
My vehicle is a 1991 80 series, all stock. I am in the process of finishing up a new roof rack. I went down to Southern Recycling, next to pic n pull, and bought aluminum square stock, and some military seat backs out of a cut v, they are nice because I'm using the fiberglass backs for the decking on my rack.
Not really what else I can say! I'm a retired Marine Grunt, I would LOVE to find some nice trails near here!, I'm a certified mechanic and I enjoy helping fellow wheelers out, and my wife and I just moved here 2 years ago from Pinehurst. (So if you have any questions or concerns about URE, ask me, I used to spend at Least 2 days a week up there. I ran every trail up there in a completely stock yj with 3" of lift and 33's)
Give me a shout if any of you want to wheel, need a hand, or just need someone to hand you your next beer!

Woah Man!!! we're up to 4 in a matter of weeks!!!

Welcome to Mud. :flipoff2:

I've got an '01 4Runner that I do most of my wheeling in and an '81 BJ44 I run around in when I need to fog the neighborhood for mosquitos.

You got a day in August that work for beers? Still waiting to hear from the other guys.

I think you guys now qualify as a herd!

"The Cape Fear Foursome".......sounds like a cheesy porno! Anyways.... I'm free any day at any time, just let me know!

I'm in Morehead City.... but I do not have a cruiser currently. I'm down in Wilmy pretty often

It would almost be like meeting a celebrity

Custyota.....If Moorehead City ever found out a couple "nut-jobs" from Wilmington were heading their way in Land Cruisers, they would probably meet us at the Craven County line with rounds chambered! Lol.... I used to live in Newport, we would love to move back to Beaufort, Swansboro, AB, Moorehead City....... So basically anywhere in that vicinity!

Don't do that, don't inflate his ego

How did you do in the Super? Co-worker mentioned bees...
I ran it last year. They still have rock music blaring into the side of the quarry? That was cool.
That was a tough course.
I ran open class and finished in the top 3rd.
Had to burpee out on 3.
Puked a twice after the finish.
I didn't run it last year, but a number of people on the course said they'd made it quite a bit tougher for the Championship Series.
On to the Fort Bragg Sprint next month, and then the Carolina Beast in October.
