Toyota's been hard at work designing the ugliest cars on the planet. What's up with all the retard tail lights? Why do they think we need to have some oddball shape on a tail light?

All the Toyota SUV's look the same...like a big smooth turd. Except the FJ Cruiser, it's pretty cool looking but they must have fired the only guy who could design a rear seat that folds flat.
I think I'll just be hanging on to my 60 for a while.

What makes an FJ-Cruiser for losers?! I didn't lose nothing. As amatter of fact I take my FJ everywhere offroad and it shines way better than on pavement. Sure i'd rather have a 70s series, but since thats not here i'll take my FJ.

The fact that its just a rebody, body kit, futuristic, artists rendition, depiction of a Legend that shares NOTHING with the LEGEND that got it there. And that people believe that its capable based on the artwork and thus compensate a company that prides itself on selling poser art, and putting money in designers pockets and rewarding the efforts of REbodiers that will see this as a profit and continue to do so.....

Dude, you don't have one, you've never seen one in action, and yet you bash it like it was your evil enemy. One FJ out of 40,000 pops a diff and your suggesting there all like that. I have 13,000 miles on my FJ and I've done way more offroading in it than you've ever offroaded in your life. I love my rebodied cheaper than, and less expensive than the current bulky 4Runner. I can wash my interior out with a water hose, get that high LandCruiser seating position that the 4Runner doesn't offer and go through the crappiest trails without a problem. I have A/C, a nice stereo, a very nice smooth ride and still beat it up with confidence. Your stupid comments will not make Toyota start selling offroad only machines to a country that doesn't even know how to unlock the door without a remote control. In my opinion, this is the best thing from Toyota in the offroading market for the US.

Part of actually having to do without for once in your life is seeing through BS and I have a degree in that. You can buy into what someone tells you or you can buy into something true. Remember! Dodges are good for drag racing with a fully loaded 40ft goose neck from a stop light to merge with HWY traffic. Fords can stop a cargo plane on a run way and Toyota's can "draw bar" pull a container dropped over a cliff!

Why are we talking about the fjc and not the 2008 Highland Cruiser ?? OK, here is my $.02 on the fjc..While I do find the looks of the fjc pretty objectionable, it's purpose really does hit closer to the mark for offroad enthusiasts more than the current generation LC or 4runner. However, I would buy a xterra or TJ Rubicon Unlimited over the fjc without a question. Now, let's get back to the point of this thread.....The 2008 Highland Cruiser !!

This rig was Created by Rod Millen and his team as a concept for Toyota. The FJ guys might remember him because he was the guy Toyota choose to Race the FJ in the Baja. One of the reasons why they didn't go with this design is cost. The FJ is a direct competitor to many capable 30K vehicles. The Rod Millen LC costs over 200K to make, Rod is however willing to make more! The rig below is possible one of the best lookiing, best built off road rigs I have ever seenI. It is in my opinion what a landcruiser should look like. But since soccers moms speak with their pocket books and keep buying LC's and LX's, at 60-80K a pop, and the FJC is one of the best SELLING vehicles for toyota in thier history, all of us with less than 200K to Blow on a "Real LandCruiser" will have to shut up. Since we cannot sway Toyota!!! And our Opinions are worthless typescript on a message board.
