Hey guys,

I've been using some cheese cloth as a temporary air filter on my 1965 FJ40 Dirtbag. It has a motor from 69 or 70 with a 2bbl carb and the wider diameter intake (no threaded rod in the carb). Does anyone have photos of the correct air cleaner setup for this motor? Trying to sort out if I can use my oil bath cleaner basin, paired with the correct "cap" that will connect to this carburetor.
Thanks!
-Seth

Carb looks basically like this one:

You will need a ’dry element’ air cleaner housing Seth. I run one on my 64 with the 1bbl carb, and on the ‘68 with the wide runner intake. They work just fine. There’s probably a couple of good pics on the service page of my website. ;)
