I'm looking for aftermarket options to replace the 2nd row seats in my 1994 Land Cruiser. It didn't have seats when I bought it and I've been having trouble sourcing decent factory seats. The front seats have already been replaced with Corbeau Sport seats and I would be ok with even getting another set of those for the 2nd row if I had the fabrication skills to build mounts for them.

Surely someone has replaced their 2nd row, but the only mention of it I have found in my searching is one guy planning to put Audi Q7 seats in. Not sure if thats just what he had on-hand or if they fit somehow. Open to all suggestions and would love to hear from someone who has a non-factory set of 2nd row seats installed.

Anything other than stock will require fabrication. There are no brackets or seats that will fit otherwise. That said, I recall someone putting in Corbeaus in back and they allowed a bit more leg room for 2nd row passengers, but again, it was a custom deal.

Try searching the 80 series seat swap thread.

Pretty sure there's some pictures of some custom installed 2nd row seats.

I put Audi seats in the front of mine, was thinking of putting two more Audi front seats into my 2nd row.
Biggest disadvantage is they won't fold up to make space for cargo like stock seats, or for sleeping in the back of that matters for you.

Cargo capacity is less important now I have a truck too, I guess.

I have a set of mids but I'm in Michigan, funny the set I replaced them with came from AZ. They're actually in decent shape I just replaced everything off a truck that was salvaged. The thing is the freight would kill you on them...

Sad you aren't closer but I also have some second row seats which are extras. As far as people putting different ones in, it was related to different seatbelts, i think from a 100 series. The individual I think wanted something more modern for current child safety seats.

I've got a minty set of all three rows in grey '94 cloth that I'd trade straight up for a pair of Scheel-Mann front seats. Heck, I'd even throw in the matching center console. :)
