Thursday is almost over...??? Any luck with them today loud?

i just got back. The drivers side runners stick out about an inch or two farther from the block then the OEM ones. Fine for the pass side but the steering is very close to the OEM on the drivers side. If you could fish, can you get a picture of the clearance on your truck, looking down in the engine bay of the left side? The 03+ have a different steering system and i believe thats how come it fit on a 05.

Even the JBAs have different designs from right to left. So, anyone with a 03+ if you could just snap a shot like the one i have attached that would be really helpful.

Now, even if I were to squeeze them in there, what about when the engine torques, would it hit the steering? I dont know yet. The tech is going to take a peek on the 03-05 trucks tomorrow, there werent any in the shop tonight.

roflmfao, I just rang my next-door-neighbor-who-I've-never-talked-to's doorbell at 20:55 and asked him if he could open the hood on his 04LX so I could peek in. He offcially thinks I'm a freak. Looks like the exact same clearance as mine.

ya, that looks like it might be tight.... I guess we'll see when you slap them on

Somehow you missed me on post #31...please add me to the list.

Greg

I thought the steering changed in 05. That may be the issue.
