Ventured out to the Palm Springs area for the weekend. Didn't do much wheeling but got to put the new KO2s in the dirt for a little bit.

Weekend trip out to Joshua Tree this weekend. The weather was perfect!!! I definitely need to get some skid plates. Followed my buddy in his 80 on 37” tires a few times, bad idea lol. The 100 did very well, only one good dent in my passenger side slider.

That is Kelly's 100. He makes the custom grills, that one is bad ass!! 4 headlights, bright as crap.

We really were not in the park at all, mostly outside it on BLM land. Exploring old mines and wheeling.

Yeah most of the trails are on the rim or outside..... next time take the dirt roads in the park and do some climbing and hiking. You wont regret it. Old mines are fun out there....not as good as death valley but right up there.

not interested in climbing. I'd prefer to explore where the average tourist is not.

Hand you made it out to Calico Ghost town? there was a lot of cool trails out there I remember doing when I was a kid. Don’t remember a bunch of extreme stuff but good place to camp for a weekend.

Haven't made it out there yet, it's on the list. It's officially desert season so there will be a lot more desert trips in the future.
