FYI Ballast Point has a ton of beer that is brewery tasting room only.
They also make some pretty good rum also.

I've been all over San Diego: Zoo, Balboa Park, Gas Lamp, Little Italy. As far as breweries go, I've been to: Ballast Point, Karl Strauss, Resident Brewing and Beer Co (disgusting)
So far my favorite has been Resident Brewing. Its paired up with a bar/restaurant called the Local, pretty good stuff!
I'll post some pics later.
