what is this twemp mod you are speaking of. :D

just finished reading about these actuators, i think i may start on the rear one as she stop a while ago.

Bump, seems to be a popular subject right now

I have tried now 3 combitation of the magnets and sill can't get the motor to turn. Whan I apply 12v, the motor feel if it wants but no luck.

If you start from the top (top is 1) clockwise, I tried 1,2,3,4, then 2,1,3,4 then 1,2,4,3

Make sure they are oriented the way they are in the picture. The bolt holes and magnet orientation are all important.

Hi,
I have been reading your posts and the problems of relocating the magnets. I have the same problem. Raventai has been a great help in explaining the procedure for assembly.
I have worked out where to stick the magnets in the case, courtesy of Tools R Us picture.
Can you remember where you stuck the N and S magnets? I have attached a picture of the magnet casing? You said there was a 50/50 chance of getting it right. If the motor runs the wrong way do I just move them round 90 Degrees as in pic B.

No, the pic is right, he has it right. If you scroll up there is a pic to confirm.

As I understand it so far, the magnets that repel each other should face each other, i.e, the two south magnets push away from each other, the same applies to the north magnets, therefore it seems that you have a NSNS configuration. Otherwise you would endup with NNSS or SSNN. Just not sure where to place the first N magnet to get it to rotate in the correct direction. Is it, as in pic A, or pic B.

Correct, just try one of the two orientations as described above. One will work, one won't. Remember, there is a chance that if you over lube the threads you can actually bind up the worm drive. Be light on the grease!

I wish I could remember :(

Thx Guys got it right, what direction should the motor turn?
Also is the a specific wat the gears should go in?
