Headed out for our club event, the Fall Gathering, in New Hampshire. Not much went as planned, and I only really had one day, but fun anyhow!

So what's slower than a Chevy 4.8 trailering a 25 on a 10% grade??

An overloaded potato truck.

Since Krusty isn't really crusty anymore, the girls renamed it Moose. Here it is on the trailer at FG.

Well, the bit about the name was true............................. That's Matt's work of art.............Mike Fox graced the passenger seat on Friday.........Matt will probably rethink that in the future. (It is my old hood on there though.)

I did get to hit the trail on Friday. The test drives I took didn't reveal that if I went up any type of slope the truck started to buck like a bronco. So that would be the first 50' of the very first trail. :D So, about 6 float bowl cleanouts and three fuel filter cleanouts made for a long day. Nice part is that it's all easily serviceable.

Only some poser shots on the trail. My father wasn't able to go, so no pictures.

Wish you could Johnny, I had your old hardtop on the trailer.............it was a big hit, I think you were the only previous owner that wasn't there.

Well the new owner was not there either, and now it seems that the "Brotherhood of the Traveling Top" has made yet another new member as half the top is now at Wally's place...I don't know if I should :crybaby: or  Oh well...we'll find a way to get her home soon!

Maybe next year, the 40 will be ready...or maybe a 25

 Talk about full circle...this top has logged more miles than my Cruiser has in I don't know how long

Gonna take some getting use to calling it Moose...makes me think of the Archies!

It just looks great Jim...and I love seeing it next to the 70! Is that David's 'green machine'?

I spy one correct hubcap;)

And I dented one of those "incorrect" ones............glad I didn't run the other set.

A dodge Raider on the cover of TT .... NEVER :D

So Jim...now that you've done some wheeling, what are your thoughts on those tires?

Seemed like that's where I spent most of the day, cleaning out the carb.... :D

The tires worked out great. Run at the cross-country recommended pressure on the dash. ;) I didn't lose any chunks and they didn't get torn up at all. Great traction for what they are, never packed with mud. A little hum on the road to remind you that they're a traction tread.
