3/8 or 10mm would be a better fit but I'm sure 12mm would still work if clamped securely. This is on my agenda. I really appreciate this thread with photos. Just a question that hasn't come up. What size rubber line is that? I have some 12mm fuel line and wanted to know if that would work there. I can't tell if it might be smaller than that.
Betting in warm climates that the thermo wax found in you ACSD will hardly if at all alter timing for start up. I have two diesels without the ACSD, never been retimed, on cold days like well below freezing i just add fuel by the skinny pedal. This is on my agenda. I really appreciate this thread with photos. Just a question that hasn't come up. What size rubber line is that? I have some 12mm fuel line and wanted to know if that would work there. I can't tell if it might be smaller than that.
And since cold weather wear came up, then perhaps mine is not in as bad a shape since it came from a desert island. It was probably never used until the last year when I brought it to Georgia. I am not familiar with the mechanism. It is something that would wear according to use in colder temps? Therefore in warmer climates it might be in better condition?
