Anybody know if the new Mustangs have enhanced the value of the older ones? I'm curious how this will effect ours.

I agree who in shy-town is going to go to the unveiling and post a roll of film. I can not wait to see it. 
Was not a huge fan of the pic floating around looked a little weak but I have a feeling that was the early drawing board and can not wait to see the finished project. This may be the first and last new car I buy.

Like I said I really hoped they changed quite a bit of it. Those pics have been around a while.....like 2yrs and I think it is definately the "concept" and wanted to get SOMETHING out to get people excited. I know on that one I do not see an identical logo.

I like having the plastic fenders on our element, if they ever need replacing it is less than $100, and replaces in a couple minutes Sure would make it easy and painless for those who want to trim their fenders.

I don't like the new FJ trying to look like an old one and failing miserably. AND WHO MADE IT A V6 AND CALLS IT AN FJ????? If Toyota wanted to do it the right way they'd bring back the 40, keep it inline 6, and introduce it to compete with the Jeep Wrangler, which has no competition in it's class.

Come on guys it can't be exactly like the old one, you can't buy a new 53 corvette , or a 69 Mach 1, or a 78 FJ40 anymore. I am excited about this new FJ Cruiser for what it is, a modern body on frame 4x4, with real transfercase, etc. with some styling cues from the FJ 40, with a modern, reliable drivetrain. We can hope it is based on the Prado (90 series Landcruiser in the rest of the world) platform of the current Tacoma which means it will be pretty capable and also benefit from the aftermarket support available for the Tacoma. I would be very excited if it were truly built in Japan!
I am speculating (with no real basis) that it will be something like a 2 door 90 series Prado Land Cruiser with a funky "North America" only body.

If it's built in Japan my guess is that it will be like the 70 series Bundera and if it's built in the US it will have the Tacoma drivetrain. I'm hoping that it's built in Japan and that a live axle front is developed by an aftermarket outfit. Even if it doesn't have a cruiser drivetrain the hilux and Tacoma are proven tough vehicles. I doubt that they would put a Prado drivetrain, that would drive up the cost.
