For anybody who has replaced their compressor or messed with a properly functioning one while changing the belt. How much pressure does it take for you to be able to spin the pulley on the front manually? I have my belt off now and everything spins nice and freely but the compressor looks original and takes some grunt to get moving. Any experience with this?

Are you referring to the pully that belt rides on? It should spin just like the pulley in the alternator. If you are referring to the clutch which is in front of the compressor with a 10 mm blt, then it spins with hand may be a half a turn and it gets harder (gas gets compressed.
