I did the SOA on the trailer and it sets perfect with the cruiser. I wanted to add a custom axle and an electric brake hub (10") to match the track and the wheels on the cruiser. I was wondering if someone else has a similar setup that I want to build. The cruiser measures at about 55" WMS to WMS. If I'm measuring this correctly, I need to order a 58" axle. With a combined total of 12" total of back spacing (3.5") and tire width (33x12.50x15's), this would leave me 2" of clearance between the frame (42" wide) and the tires on each side. I'm thinking 2" of clearance because of gross trailer weight and tire flex off-road.
FJ40-M416

Is this correct or would you go wider or narrower?

Here's a little help....... you'll find people are lazy. If you want people to see your pictures its best to just post up the actual images. Lots of people don't want to bother with links and sifting through thumbnails.

Looks like a good little trailer.

Trailer looks great! Now you've gotta tear it down and get it painted to preserve it.

2X on the painting it. Look at my trailer build, the link is in my signature. I found plenty of rust hiding between the bed and frame, while the rest of the trailer looked fine.

That's a nice looking trailer.
