the air cleaner valve cover and the steel side plates on the block next to distrib were green ... very nice paint job was told 73Nice,,, 'cept the air cleaner and valve cover should be black.

You're right. Not sure if they are some kind of weird aftermarket or what. Also I don't think bezels ever came in that color, and it looks like it's missing the rubber bushings for the bezel as well. Kind of hard to tell.

My guess is that '73 is correct. IIRC that backup light is unique to '73 and the lens is unobtainium.

nope, steering wheel is '74 or later
instrument cluster is also later model - '72 has external blinker indicators
there is something wrong with the front blinkers on the truck as well, missing silver bezels or something, too square-looking somehow
the front bumper is not stock - of course, Dave's is better ;p
