Hey all, I created a shared Drive folder for those who want to share their photos with this group:

HIH9 Photos - Google Drive

You have to log in to gmail to upload (same with Dropbox and I figured more people had Google accounts than Dropbox).

Also, feel free to create folders if you want to better organize these.

Upload those photos! I won't ever delete this album. Well, until our Google overlords make me.

@geanes loves stump:

So, 2006/2007 100 series have 7 blades radiator fans. I’m stuck in Silverton still with the closest fan around being 4 days away. Can I remove the fan and limp it home? Can I just break the rest of the blades off and limp it home if I can’t get the whole assembly out?

Aaron,
If you can break off one blade to balance out the one you're missing it might be worth trying it and seeing if it's smooth enough.
Might be a long way to go with no fan. I wonder if the early fan is interchangeable if that's easier to find? Not sure but there's some ideas at least. Best of luck with it!

Oh, and keep your rpms low, smooth, and controlled when crossing water when running mechanical fans.

Dang right I do! Gonna practice real good over the next 11 months so I can win the tournament at HIHX :)

I think we need an official HIH endorsed Stump Tournament for next year.... I'll make the broken CV Trophy

Headed back home to South Georgia:( and Oklahoma sucks🔥!!!

Of course towing a 4500lb trailer at 65mph @3200rpm doesn’t help:cool:

Back to reality I guess. I miss all y'all already. Can't wait until HIHX!!!!!

A couple pics from a recovery @neilsen100 ( Dimondback Bike guy) and I did on Ophir pass right before the raffle Saturday. These young ladies were “just driving up to have beer and check out views” when they accidentally backed in their TRD Pro 4runner into the ditch on accident 🤦🏽‍♂️

Did they try using Crawl Control to get out of that? I wonder how that would have worked?

@ga12r1 no. I thought the same, but they weren't aired down at all. or in 4 low. or have diffs locked. it may have if she was really aired down, but the rocks were really loose and we were keeping her from sliding into the snow bank.at the end of the day, Neil winched her while someone else drove, and while I bounced on her step and leaned back as a counter weight. it was a team effort!

Young ladies in distress with beer on board...I've seen how this movie ends😉

Thanks to @Austin Hot Shoe i May have a temp fix to get home. It’s not fixed until I make it home, so when I make it home, I’ll let you all know what the fix is...it’s pretty red neck...which is awesome! EDIT: oh ok....here’s a picture.

The first timers guide is a good idea!

Laying here in a way too small bed for me and my 14 year old at the Grand Imperial hotel for one last night of Colorado goodness. Elijah got to drive some trails, got heat some conversation that I might to explain on the way home, and got to come to his 3rd HIH. I am so thankful to have been able to come again this year, I never take it for granted, and I don’t ever plan to miss another one. I miss you guys already. 😢 This event and this community is the coolest thing going right now. Thank you to everybody who is cool and helpful and will put up with up my dumbassedery. Can’t to do it again next year...the year I will FINALLY win an @benc bumper!!!
