Can i get a copy of the mechanic’s report?
I do not have a physical paper report from before the work was done, but the instructions to my service advisor was to make the vehicle reliable and to drive as it was designed.

More photos. I hope this covers the CV question, but I couldn't get in there much further today at lunch in my work clothes.

There has been no real interest in the vehicle, so I'll just mention I'm open to offers. If anyone with knowledge would like to comment regarding a reasonable expectation for sale price, please feel free. I have not found a direct comparison easy - some vehicles out there are also in good shape, but not a lot have a fresh engine to compare. I also know when the price gets too high I am in competition with vehicles many years newer...

It's not my intention to turn this into an advice thread on your listing - other than to cover your question on comments on pricing.

LC's with 150-200k that have been well maintained generally see sale prices somewhere in the $10-$15k range.

Motor replacement is extremely rare on 100's, while there are quite a few wear components and preventative items that do actually fail and cost money for replacement. If a buyer is looking at a comparable 100 in the price range of your listing, they are looking at low mileage examples or heavily modified (and therefor very buyer specific) vehicles. I know I would rather have a cruiser with 150k fewer miles on EVERYTHING, than one with low miles on the block. My LC costs me more money on items like suspension bushings, vacuum and cooling hoses, radiator replacement, plugs/coil packs, drive shafts, CV shafts, motor accessories, etc. than I anticipate the block and transmission will ever cause me. Part of the reason to own this specific vehicle.

Unfortunately, I would price your LC very similarly to 100's that have their original motors. There is a small premium in pricing for maintenance records, but folks want to see the records going all the way back if they can. What you do see with records is an increase in interest and a higher closing rate.

Thanks for the feedback - I appreciate it and your reasoning makes sense. I believe at this point I should just drive it and enjoy it! Thanks again.

Does anyone know if I can delete this entire ad? I only see a way to edit thread, lock thread, or mark it sold, which it is not. I did a search on classified procedures, but did not see an answer. Will plan to post photos elsewhere as I begin my offroad adventures, but does not make sense to leave this post up if not actively pursuing a buyer. TIA
