Front diff went tu. Will I have any issues dropping in a locking front diff...I'm assuming it drops in but a switch will be needed. Any surprises otherwise?

Thanks ahead of time. ;)

You're going to want to search this, there are several good write-ups.
In short, the OEM models are not drop in, there are some extensive axle housing mods that need to be completed. Then the wiring and axle ECU....

If you what an air locker or other than OEM e-locker they are not "drop" in, but they are do able with the correct fixtures and measuring equipment.

there is some mods you have to do for sure, its easy to see what when the housing is out and the gears and axles are out. then look at a write up or two and you can see it. i would not try it with it in the truck. just because your drilling and tapping a couple holes if memory serves me correct
