All other controls work for the seat except the slide forward/backward. It clicks and seems like it may work so I pulled the seat and the rails are clean and there’s nothing obstructing the work gears. Any ideas?

Thanks. I know years ago I changed the drivers side because it was slipping, but I know it’s a plastic gear. Do you know where I can source them?Do you mean worm gear?
There have been few write ups. Try this one. Look ffor a white/yellowed cap with aa cross on one end and threaads on the side. Sometimes this works itself loose, particularly when moveing the seaat forward.
A few of you have been bugging me about these, and tonight I have some good news for you. The long awaited seat gear appears to have been successfully reproduced..![]()
