I hate getting rid of this, but I need to fund my wife’s truck. It runs, drives and does what it should with no issues. It is locked and they work flawlessly. It’s always been a southern truck and it has no rust whatsoever. It’s not prefect by any means, but it’s a great start and it’ll be a good solid rig for someone here.
Before I put it on Craigslist, I’ll offer it to you guys.
The good:
• Replaced engine with one around 190k. It had the head gasket replaced, all belts, hoses, fluids, PHH and rear main done.
• LOCKED
• Brakes are about as good as these can get
• front seats were recovered
• interior is in good shape
• rear leather looks good
• all windows work as they should
• no rust at all
The not-as-good
• never got around to re-gassing the AC (it should be OK)
• paint is a 10-footer. Has a lot of orange peel but looks awesome if you walk away from it.
• speakers and radio are original so it sounds pretty tinny
• knuckles have a tiny bit of weeping but they’re not bad at all. Ive just keep an eye on it and it hasnt been noticeable.
• BFGs have about 10k left of them
That’s about it. It’s a good, honest truck that I hate to see go. I was going to build it up and use it as a weekend camping rig but I have a 70 that takes the stable. My wife loves her blown-up Tacoma more than this, and I need to put an engine in it.
I’m located inside 285 around Decatur.
