1290 FZJ80 units or 1290 80 body style units combining all engine varieties? That seems like a lot of FZJs in one month! Were they all made in the same facility too?

That would be just FZJ80s. Production for all markets. The US is a small market, Australia is the largest market. The 80 Series was built exclusively at Araco which is now known as Toyota Auto Body.

My 1994 is 62804, built in January 1994.

From what I've found its a sequential number rather than a date code.

Correct. Yours is the 62,804th FZJ80 built (world wide distribution).
