Hi yall, i have a few other post on here for others issues but just recently my CEL came on. First time in the 4 months i have owned it. I get Code 24 & 25. Not sure what would make these codes pop up. Also i have noticed that when ever i undo the gas cap to fill up pressured air releases for a few seconds (Also a new issue) I believe it might be a clog in the charcoal canister. Any tips or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I made an appointment with a well known Toyota Mechanic ( Yotamaster) but my appointment is not till another month from now.

24Intake Air Temperature Sensor signal.
25Air-Fuel Ratio Lean.

My response before the qualified first-responders appear...
Those codes are O2 sensor related.
The pressurized fuel could be related to your canister. There is a function check you can do, but my experience so far has been that no ones canister passes the function check while only some folk experience the pressurized tank issue. There is an aftermarket canister P/N VC-120 (Duralast brand I believe) that many folk have replaced their OEM canister with, with seemingly improved results. (OEM canister no longer made specifically for the 80. There is a 100 series canister out there if OEM is a must)
If left unattended your fuel tank could rupture (crack) in a certain place. There are 2 check valves in the canister and another on the tank itself.
'There are also multiple threads on the issue far more detailed than what I can spout here.

Here is a link to a Mud thread that will walk you through how to cut open, and then rebuild your factory Charcoal canister.

Here is a thread on how to replace both your O2 sensors if needed.

Here is a link to a special Toyota Service campaign that has factory part numbers, along with nut and bolt torque specs for replacing both O2 sensors on 93 and 94 Land Cruisers.
