The great and talanted Mr Paul therw down some beads for me yesterday and the rear spring mounts are all secure now. Thanks again sir

Flexed the rig alittle to see how everything is working out and its looking pretty good. Stretched the wheelbase to 113" and the frame is going to be about 25" from the ground at the t-case mount about 3" smaller than the 4Runner at half the price of Trail gear springs. Next is gears and axle rebuilds along with some cleaning of the frame then paint.

TG creeper shackle mounts and the F150 stock Ubolt flip kit money saver.

What did you use for the front driveshaft? How much does that ifs cv joint on the 4runner extend length? I need a balanced solution because I plan on drive in 4wd on the road a little. I would rather stay away from the square shafts for right now.

Have some spare driveshafts with longer tubes that look like they are going to work. Have no Idea where they came from as of years or vehicle but they are Toyota may be for the IFS rigs.
So the IFS shafts are longer? You may be onto something there. I'll look into that, I may be able to get one locally on the cheap.
Your making it look to simple to build one of these mini trucks. LOL. Great jobs on the build

Got a yard pass today, so I mocked up the wheel spacers along with wheels and tires then flexed it out to check for any clearance issues. All seemed to work well, but nothing substitutes the real world. Installed the used steering draglink after cutting it down 2.5" for the axle moved forward with the RUF, still plan to do the ball flip when I rebuild the axle. Here is a few driveway shots.

Everyone is well, and here is the new little helper.
thats a good looking and healthy little helper you have there bud. Take lots of pictures they sure grow fast

With the nice weather I have been outside all day working on the Yota its now 4 different colors. Got the 2wd bed from P.A.P. wish I had it before the rear spring install, but some fender triming took care of the tire clearence. Installed a rear cross brace with a 2" reciever and some shackle mounts. Then decided to start fabbing some half doors out of the orginal doors, started on the passanger side and swapped on a spare whole door. Removed the section not wanted, cut the door capping out of the an old holy hood, and installed the door handle. Ran out of time to start tacking it together but it its looking good so far.
