Not going to happen trying to keep it under $1000. :crybaby:

What are you going to do with all of that Toyota?

The concept would be badass if you thick out side the box.

Scatch the 79 build it would have taken alot of parts and it was orginally Nick's project anyway goodluck buddy.

So now I have an 85 EFI single cab the white one from the Sportsman a couple of months back. It took a Mass Air Flow meter/ sensor, some tuning to get it running and seems to have a strong drive train. The PO changed the fuel filter, distrubitor, wires, and plugs already but could not get it to run. We found some bad injectors so swapped some good spares in with new o-rings and just so happen my buddy Kyle had some left over intake gaskets from his engine rebuild :D. So I bought a exhaust manifold gasket to stop the leak there and used some spare donut gasket to button up the tail pipe. Pulled the rust pile of a bed off, it and the rest of scrap iron around the shop got me some cash at the recycle center. Smashed in the fender wells some so the 33's can ride on the unhappy springs :frown:, until some lift can be installed.
Also found the brake light harness wrapped up on the drive shaft when I pulled the bed off.

Sounds like you have a collection going!

Sweet, looks like a second coming of the White Trash  looking forward to seeing the evolution of it :)

Slow going for now collecting parts and tunning up the truck, found the cold start switch not working causing the hard starts.
Got 5" shackles for front and rear, toyota rears for the front lift, '92 ford f150 rears 57" long for the rear lift. Springs will be held in place with Datin Fab front hanger, rear spring hangers, and Trail-Gear Creeper Joint shackle mount.

Got some 16x8 wheels just had to open up the center bore to 4 1/4" and mounted some 37" SSR's, but will not fit without 1.5" wheel spacers.

Hopefully we start welding parts on in a week or so.

Built a five leaf spring pack out of Toyota rears for the front lift and had a new hanger welded in. Installed the new TG shackles and bolts with grease zerts. The springs moved the axle a couple of inches forward so now I have to fix the steering arm because it lost all its travel to the left which is in the plans.:D Moved on to the rear today, removed as much as the unessary that I could before the fab work can start. Also cleaned up the 93 rear V-6 axle that I scored with a Detroit locker.

just did RUF on mine. Wish I would have done it earlier, could have had more flex and saved a set of tires from getting eaten by the tub. How is ur pinion/caster? I shimmed mine by 4 degrees and it came out nice. Square front shaft in the works?

Nice work.Turning left is overrated anyway :steer:

Was the frame a pain to drill for the bushings?

No need to drill yet. the frame already had bushing holes so I just popped in the new bushing from the TG shackles.

Got the rear springs mocked up and the hangers tacked in. Need to find someone to weld them in, my machine is just to small.:crybaby:
Once I get some more weight in its rear I think its going to ride just right.
