Long-time reader, infrequent poster. Great forums - tons of useful information.

Im looking for the best options for sound deadening / heat shield / floor covers for my '83 40. It has carpeting now but Id like to get something more effective and thinking this group is the best place to learn more. Ive checked Relik Garage and City Racer but open to ideas. Thanks in advance.

Would be curious to see City Racer mat on a 10/82+ hump. Hump is taller and boots changed shape. Plus if you have H55F with correct top cover and correct transfer shifter the transfer lever is further back. 0n a 10/82 plus would want one that holes are not cut. Unfortunately can't see the Heritage program including 10/82+ floor mats any time soon.

Didnt have an h55 but did have a city racer later version in my 83. Seemed to fit well. He might have taken close up pictures during fitment.

Were the boot holes pre cut?

This picture has the three different versions of boots used 1/79+. Lower left is a US 60 series 4/85-7/87.

Does this mat have Toyota just behind the shifters? Don't see it but remember it was going to be on the 1/79 mat was it wasn't on the 73-78 four speed mat.

This is probably the best mat available for the 10/82+. I can see wrinkles on sides. The ribbed section on the passenger's side is up on the side of the hump verses being on the flat section.

These are pictures I took of a 83 cover on a 82 tub I have. First picture is of the matching 82 cover. The rest are the taller 10/82+ inspection cover.

The second pic I sent shows Toyota behind the shifter. Yes maybe a bit of wrinkling, I dont really notice any different from the old oem version by any means. I notice more the lack of accurate late model OEM textured seat vinyl available by anyone.
