craigslist 83 40 with a mysterious top - Not mine

i have never seen a top like this even on a non-us model.

Anyone know what the deal is?

That's a fiberglass MPR top. Many South American Land Cruisers have these tops since most Land Cruiser's were shipped with soft tops. I've had three or four of them.
