8274 warn winch?

any help on what warn winch this is?
I thought it was an 8274 but looking at this thread

I'm a bit stumped. Have an old Warn 8403 mounted to the bumper (PO) ... looks straight forward to remove but I can't see how to remove the bottom bolts that attach the fairlead? Nuts on winch side are square and fit slot, so don't rotate (so can't remove from behind); on the front are 1.25"...

Everything i see points to 8247

From the date code in your photo, and the plastic controller socket, your winch was made in October 1985. It is an 8274.
