Check out Austin St Onge on youtube. I've seen his posts on FB and apparently he has a good YT channel with a bunch of videos. He put a 6bt in his 80 with a NV4500 and seems to be pushing it pretty hard with 42" tires.

Yea nah, its a bit rough. The photos don't really show all the black silicon.Cool. Happen to have pics of the dash? I can't imagine what they do, but it the dash isn't crumbling into potato chips then it means they did a better job than factory.
To be honest Id probably rather put a Duramax in it, but settled with the cummins because there a bit easer to find and a far simpler engine. I've already got a Holden v8 in my 70 series bush truck, and anyway I want a torque monster for towing.I've never ready anything with people being super happy with the Cummins in their 80. You see them for sale really soon after the conversion. In all honesty, my hunch is that it ruins a perfectly good vehicle. If you need more power, drop a Holden V8 in there or import a FT or FTE from Japan. You also have the V8 diesel in NZ already. Leave the cummins in the truck and make something special out of it.
