TLC conversion ( GM Vortec, 4L60-E trans, front and rear lockers, fender and roof rack delete), recently tucked and sectioned front bumper, modified OME suspension, modified factory grill surround and grafted in FJ60 insert, custom 20"x8" aluminum wheel retro steel wheel look, 275/65 MT/R Goodyears, sound deadening.
6. Daily driver, fly fishing trips to the Bitterroot
Future plans? open to suggestions on painting of front bumper, possibly black or body color?, larger tires Nitto 295/65 or BFG 37", better sounding exhaust.
Below pic of 37"s I borrowed to test fit, it cleared, only slight mods would be necessary.

First post. I learned to drive on an '87 Land Cruiser that was our family car nicknamed the groundhog since that was the day we got it. It got passed down to my little brother who wheeled it hard and is still being used as parts (he's now wheeling another FJ60 converted to propane that wears the groundhog's tailgate; parts are also on his buddy's FJ62). My other little brother has couple 40s and a 100 so I figured I better join the club. Just got this off eBay with a surprise win on the auction. Drove it home from Nashville and it runs great on pavement, not brave enough to try dirt yet since it's in such good shape.

5. No mods yet -- my 12 year old wants a snorkel (he has seen Dante's Peak too many times). I want to remove the running boards and fender flares, get new bumpers/sliders/lift it. And win the Powerball.
6. Use: 3rd car right now (although I haven't driven my Sequoia since I got it). It will probably be my son's first car in a couple years and maybe our OBX vehicle (to get to our beach house in Carova; again, when I win the lottery). I would also really like to take it through the mud holes on Amboy road (inside joke)
