Good eye. The housing and brackets are very similar ( although a little softer aluminum). That unit uses a TIR optics which don't capture the output. In other words its a great light bar for looks, not so much function. The spot is a 30* whereas the ones in the group but are 8*. Also Cree seems to be a commonly used name or the search function. The first LED light bar I had was that exact unit...it used 1W Epistar LED's. the toughed glass will shatter on the 100G ( gram) drop test. My light bars have much different cooling fins and optics.

That optic looks different than the ones in the GB, wonder if it is due to their size or perhaps purpose.
They look nice and I actually read that whole thread last night, well looked at it, read might be a little strong because it is 22 freakin pages. That thing has some serious manhours in the interior and you are very VERY skilled.

the hardware is really nice, SS bolts, nuts, washers, quality mounts ( bit more adjustment would be nice for the smaller lights), wiring very nice, quality housings ...
all in all, 10 out of 10, i will buy again. top notch kits.

Hmm, the second post was't up when I saw the first one on the rack. The front light looks the same but the rack lighting is slightly different. I bet it is all about purpose. I am sure Nick will chime in once he gets off the road to drop some LED knowledge on us.
