It is. I just need to finalize the mount and it's go time!

Which brings me to the question of the day...

Would anyone have a problem installing a rivnut in the D-Pillar? This means drling a hole and installing the nut. The DPM MUST have three points of contact in order to be secure. There is just no way around it.

I'm all for drilling holes, is there a tool needed to install the Rivnut?

No issue using a rivnut.

Cool with me on the rivnut. Another new tool to learn how to use and add to the toolbox.

This project needs a shot in the arm but I'm so stretched for time that it's tough to concentrate on this. I did finally find the First Aid bag that is perfect for the mount in both size, expandability and mounting.

don't forget about the Viagra... I've heard it can stave off altitude sickness.....

Xanax, bourbon, corn chips and band aids.

This reminds me of Cruise Moab this year when I pulled out my bin labeled "Recovery" and popped the top expecting snatch blocks, shackles and gloves.... IDK if I was drunk or what when I packed it but there was a bottle of Advil, two tabs of alka seltzer, ear plugs and a sleeping mask...:meh:

Hey don't joke on the corn chips, excellent fire starter in a pinch...

Joey- your going to sell these complete with med items included...?

Corn chips don't hold a candle to Cheetos for fire starting :flipoff2:

As for the kits, that's tough to say. All basic kits are woefully inadequate. But there are laws to consider. I need to do more research first.

Sell them empty, as most users will carry very "basic items" band aids and a flash light while others will just toss that stuff for there own personal intended uses like tampex and horse wrap....

I'm available for beta testing, have bags need mounts :-P X's 2.

I'm getting ready to buy a Morningstar Prostar PS-30M solar controller. I know you have many, many other things vying for your time but do you think you'll be able to get these mounts created in the near future? I'm planning to run cabling to the D pillars and to bury the Prostar in this bracket.

Literally my ONLY stumbling block to going into production with these is just the mount itself. Adding the mounting tray in the back is no big deal.
