I'll have to see if I even have captive fasteners for something like that in my 80 as it's pre-8/92 and never had 3rd row seats. I can see that a solar charge controller would go well in the space but how protected with electrical stuff be inside the d-pillars if the tailgate or barn door seals leak when it rains?
