@NLXTACY Any updates on this. I know you are good at posting updates when you have them but today is a holiday for me and with an idle mind my focus keeps coming back to this mod :)

I’m looking for my box of goodies that has all my build stuff in it for this project. This will move quick while I have time.

The problem with new technology...you want to do it on everything. Kind of like with Photoshop 3.0 came out with the lens flare tool. Pretty soon EVERYTHING had lens flares :hhmm:

Anyway, starting over with the design of the mount...it has been decided.

Quickie update. Still moving forward. This design is assuming the face is perpendicular to the open hatch. This is good for access to the face but the back side is really wide where is faces the sliding window.

An idea... How about a few standardized mounting holes along the bottom where one might mount some switches or plugs? With the close proximity of the rear quarter panel, sure would be awesome to have an easily accessible location for some plugs or switches. Love all those pretty Powerwerx doo-dads.

Nevermind. Just woke up from a long slumber - and I see this suggestions has been well covered. Disregard.

Any updates on this Joey? The damaged side of my brain says "make your own, how hard can it be" The less damaged side of my brain say "For fecks sake wait for @NLXTACY you idiot" things blow up when the damaged side wins...progress on this would be therapy...

I know as soon as I DIY it, he's going to release the preorder announcement. It's like washing the truck to make it rain!

I hate that whenever I really try to come up with the perfect solution, and finally determine exactly what that solution will be, after I've spent days in the garage, till the wee hours in the morning, I ALWAYS land on the same solution that @NLXTACY is teasing on some 400 page long 'Mud thread. It's kinda demoralizing. Alas, also waiting for this solution to to move past the foreplay stage.

The prototype is sitting on my dining toom table taunting me. Honestly it involves making design/function decisions that will greatly affect, well...the design and function :flipoff2:

They are decisions that will make someone to finally says f'that or hell yeah. I need to figure out a middle ground. Its nothing I need the "design committee" for. Its just something I need to decide and then move forward on.
