Hi guys,
Anyone aware of an option for a in tank fuel pump for EFI in a 79 or later tank? Prefer something that does not require major fab work on the tank? I did a search and found a few threads for the earlier under seat tanks....but nothing for the later ones. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Have a 79 with SBC and EFI. Looking to go in tank for reliability reasons. What are my options. Is there an in line pump that will last? Thanks in advance for the suggestions. Randy

You could try my ebay #263646816962, it is height adjustable for your shallower factory tank. It does not include the actual fuel pump, you merely buy the pump for the pressure your fuel injection requires- - -easy deal.

Thanks. Is there anything out there that replaces the current pick up? This could be an option but I am not sure I have the clearance. I think I would have to lower the tank mount. Can you send me dimensions? How deep is it in the tank? How high does it sit on top of the tank? I am confused on the top plate? 3 holes? vs need 4? 1 return, 1 feed, 1 positive, 1 negative? Any additional details would be appreciated.

Send me your email address, much easier to email you some info/drawings.

Did you do anything with this? I am looking at using the Hyperfuel tight fit 255LPH in tank pump (40015) for my upcoming Sniper install in my 1981 FJ40. I will likely install the pump in place of the original fuel lever sender and move the sender to the former pick-up tube location.
