Refurbing some interior items and was wondering if the leg portion that flips down on my jump seats should be grey in color? They are black now but I am not quite sure that is the color they were when new. This is the hoop shaped flip down piece-essentially the legs for these seats. Anyone know? Maybe @JohnnyC can gives us some of his expertise..................Thanks!

Just got the reply in Jump Seat Education thread..................

Yes, I believe they are grey, and the rubber cushions on the bottom are black. The clasps for the hold down straps are gloss olive green. Springs, pins, screws, and latches are cadmium.

Frame were black on the 74-78 model short jump seats. Pewter ended with the long jump seats. Same with the front when they went from a 40/60 bench to buckets with 73 model. 78 started with with fold down leg and the rubber bumpers that rested on the edge of the wheel well. Believe are April or May the rubber bumpers were dropped and only had folding legs after that.

@Living in the Past I believe mine do not have the rubber bumpers which makes sense. Are you in the Phoenix area? I am up in Prescott area but in the Valley often. I just joined Copper State Cruisers as well. Tom

In the Phoenix area now but that's coming to a end pretty soon as we head to cooler climate before the real heat sets in. Still in AZ but at a cool 7,000'.
