Does anyone have a picture of the horn relay? I have this electrical box, but I'm not sure if it's the horn relay. Does it have a 3 terminal connection on it? I don't have a picture of what I have. I'm helping my father reassemble his cruiser and the relay is a his house.

I have an old picture of the location-aft of the coil, mounted on the fender well(yea-yea, the bezel is upside down, but this is before I knew)I'll keep looking for a better one. Rig will be back home next Wed. after the cooling system flush-I can get better pics then.

That's a pretty good shot (not mine). I have mine as well, but one of the prongs broke off when I was removing it. The picture above is a better example.

I sourced a replacement from a late 70's Mazda, I believe - had to run jumpers because the plugs were a slightly different configuration. I believe it was a Beck Arnley part number 2030042, something like $9.

Off topic. Ssgoat, you don't need a new bezel, you need a screwdriver.
Take out the 4 screws, flip the bezel so the fat part is up, put the 4 screws back.

That is exactly what we have. Thanks for the picture. Now, Is it mounted on the top of the pass. fender or down on the skirt? Is it bolted down by itself or with another part? Or maybe someone has a picture of it mounted.

Mine is mounted on the passenger side fender. That said the PO converted my 40 to a V8 so a ton of stuff has been moved around.

The OEM horn relay (#3) is mounted with one bolt on the PS inside fender. It has 3 prongs marked:
B, H and S.
B= power from Battery
H= to Horn
S= Signal from Horn switch

Good luck,

Hello, I am trying to diagnosis my horn problem. They gave up. Fuse is fine. Found the horn relay and it is nasty.
I've already cleaned up the horn lines and connectors but I'm not sure what to do with the relay.

I already checked the links in this thread for one to buy and did some other research and they are all discontinued. Looking for one that will work for my 73 FJ40 TLC. Or how to clean this connector and relay if the relay is working. I am going to do the other horn in the morning and check where I'm getting power.

Any help would be great thank you!
