Hi—could someone confirm which line is the supply and which one is the return to the fuel tank for a‘76? Currently I have the “outer” (closest to the corner) as the supply. Thanks!

I didn’t think a photo would help as described but I can take one if you think it would. Description is the front passenger side corner of the tank as reference to the fuel inlet and return.

I think per this diagram, the main is the inner of the two (red circle) and the return is the outer (closest to corner). I may have it backwards...

I think you’re right. I’ll check mine out shortly and post up

The two exit the tank at the same elevation. The one closer to the rear is the feed, as mine is currently plumbed. If you open both ends, you can verify by blowing compressed air at less than 10 psi thru the line. Open the cap on the tank in case you have the lines crossed, and blow from engine toward tank. Hth.

So if you are blowing on the correct hose, you will hear bubbles with the cap off, eh?

yes, as long as there is gas in the tank but not totally full.
