‘75 Fj40 Ambulance Door Missing Parts Quiz

I am in need of a little help identifying/naming a few Ambulance door pieces that the PO felt weren’t needed. Hoping there are some Fj40 experts out there that knows these pieces of door hardware I need. And of course, any leads on where to find/buy some of these parts would be greatly appreciated.

Here is what I’m looking to identify:

1. This is on the top of the DS door. I’m assuming this is a retractable latch similar to the bottom one?

2. Center of above door support. Maybe a stopper for my missing top latch part?

3. Directly below PS Ambulance door handle.

4. Inside of DS door. Looks like something used to be where spacer washers are now.
And the gap where oem blue paint is seen on inside door handle.

Any common names they go by would help me a lot for posting the correct part in the wanted classified section. Or if you have a photo of yours, I could always circle it and iquire about it.

3. That little cover plate pivots out of the way so you can get your key in the lock.

Thanks, I just pryed it open. Was rusted shut but there certainly is a keyhole there! Unfortunately, none of the keys that came with it fit.

You can buy the rear door strikers and lock/key from most of the Land Cruiser vendors. Mark Algazy (65swb45) has a box of used ambulance door latch mechanisms. I think you can get a used escutcheon for under the inside door handle from SOR.

Last I knew, ambulance door locks and keys were still a dealer item. They were sold as a set (lock and 2 keys) for cheap.

Yes, you are correct. Looks to be about $20 for the set! Thanks, I will be ordering a set.

Thanks for all the help identifying those parts I need. @liko got me set up with the parts I was missing. Big Mahalos out to him on the Big Island!!!
I had one more question, can someone tell me how the inside DS Ambulance door handle stays on? Looks like some kind of pin keeps it in place, but mine doesn’t have anything to hold it on, so it just slides right off. Looks like maybe a small nail might work if I can’t find one that fits. Anyone have a photo of what it looks like? Thanks!
