I am at your mercy. I do recommend that you get a handle on your body shop friend. Sound as if his regard for your concerns is non-existent. I find it reprehensible for an adult to behave this way.

I knew that I wasn't even close to third or fourth billing before this began, in fairness to the situation.

Once I get yours, skullyotas, and a few others request fulfilled, I'm not committing to anything until its back in my possession.

Was headed there today, but felt (cause there ain't no hearing in an F350) something catching in the rear end.

Turns out, the backing plate had disintegrated and the entire ebrake assembly blew apart inside the drum.

If it ain't one thing, it's ten more.

Sound very familiar.....and then your worst employee's grandmother dies for the second time this year and they can't show up for work for 2 weeks.

Current state....

Picked up the 72 tailgate (actually a later gate, but was on 72) and the Cruiser Corp fenders and will carve up tomorrow to fulfill my current obligations.

Roof is coming off in next few days. Then will pull the front upper, lower, inner fenders to store, then it'll be off to the races to liquidate the rest.

Will have a disassembled F, the F.5 in it, along with a rolling, titled frame that I'd like to find a home for, but won't commit to any further parts until I have back in my possession to avoid frustrations.

Your pig is now ready to be turned into a serious rock crawler! It looks pretty tough cut up, but still with some structural integrity. Maybe someone will have a vision for it.

Chris,
What tool is your body guy useing to cut those panels out. Sad to see, but he's doing a good job.

A small pneumatic cutting wheel.

I'd bet a special wheel, because the cuts feel razor sharp and don't have any wave.

Maybe someone will have a vision for it.

I hope!!

I'd like to have, but my vision is currently hazy...

LOOK at that rack! (twss). thanks. going to go over it with a fine internet toothed comb and see if it will work…
again, thanks.

Delancy, no determination yet…
I want to see what my body looks like next week after paint. I like the rack since its original, just not sure if it fits with the look i'm after.
thanks

Personally, not a fan of any rack that penetrates the roof panel, even if it's the 36D variety. :)

To each there own, but under no circumstance could I see drilling through a solid roof pan to add a rack as being necessary for a fair entry win.

More than welcome to it, but you're marrying it for life....at least, until it leaks, rusts out, or is determined as useful as teats on a boar hog.

My two cents....

you should of seen the through roof rack that came with my truck! holy holes of holiness. ok, so that is your two cents…so how much for the rack? :o

thanks

Front clip, roof, and inner fenders are coming off this week.

It's a titled frame....about the only item of value left, so offering that up, should anyone want.

The timeline given to me is it has to be gone by next Tuesday, so would need a commitment in advance of, otherwise it'll be recycled.

As it say today.

Was thinking about getting the ignition cylinder (think I have the key) and scrounging for every nut and bolt that can be removed, too.

If it's removable, I'll attempt to pull.

Have two other blocks that could probably go, too...
