My shop fridge is out of beer so............bring some.

Slowly pilfering parts from around the valley.Picked up everything fromt he knuckles out yesterday and snagged the front axle shafts and rear 60 axle today from Uglybuckwheat.:)Thanks for the hookup Jake and I'll bring beer next time even though I don't drink it anymore.

I suppose you should get a pass since you're a non beer consumer. But otherwise that is a serious barn visit foul. Thanks for the visit sir. I'll keep crackin and try to have pigtown ready for the relic run.

Got the spring mounts going today.Everything went well with the exception of the pass. side motor mount will need a to be notched a bit.Not using the shackles shown, they will not be quite as long or wide so the notch will hopefully be minimal.:)

What? Motor mount in the way? Sounds like you should change that motor then. You know me. Any excuse to upgrade!

nice shackle reversal... can you post up some measurements from the frame tip to the front hanger bolt centers? lookin good...

Don't have a measurement but the rear mounts are mounted up front right on the existing bolt hole of the old front mounts that were cut off.If you look close you can see a bolt running through the mount into the frame just to line it up while I weld it up.Thanks:)

Marlin or IPOR high steer? I just ordered my kit from IPOR.

The hi steer is All Pro I believe bought used. The paint is just rustoleum rattle can.
Got everything finish welded, mounted the axle and boomerang'd the shackles to work around the motor mount instead of cutting it up.I think they will work well.:)Thanks

Did not like where everything ended up in the previous photos,so cut the hangers off moved the axle forward a couple inches, new shackles, cleared the motor mount, like it much better.:)

You've got a few more more days until relic run get that 55 together...

Awwww man! Shirts!? Now I really have to go. Approximately how many miles are we covering? I have a few things to throw together to make sure the pig is up to it. And streetish legal. I think the biggest bummer is I have no kind of proper old school camping gear.

Don't worry about the miles,no one gets left behind:)(300 round trip). No old s*** layin around in Heber?Thats hard to believe

Pigtown is constantly a work in progress. I would never expect to hold up the whole show. I would call in a rescue flatbed trailer. Of course when I think of something going wrong I think of something catastrophic that can't be roadside fixed...
