okay, i talked to Mike and the price will be $800 CND for both rear 1/2 doors. these will have all the original configurations as the steel doors so they will be a complete bolt on. the tire carrier location will be re-enforced for strength up to a 35" tire.
the tail light lamp will be able to be mounted on the new doors.
like everything Mike builds it will be over engineered as well as extremely hard to tell from factory.
if seriously interested shoot me off an email. i want a total of 5 sets on order then production will begin.

Reopening a old thread. Anything ever come of these half doors? I don't might just make some wood ones for this summer.
I would say that nothing has come of this since the last post was in 11 years ago!

deepseacruiser...I have a set of rear doors with the top frames cut off. They are not pretty, kinda rough, white in color. I understand shipping could be high but I am willing to part with them if you pay shipping. I decided against using them with my FJ73.
If you want something that looks pretty, then these are not for you and you can buy new ones from Beno
. If you are good with body work or just want a set for a camping trip, then they would be good.
Mods: I apologize if I am breaking any rules by posting this here and feel free to remove if necessary. I did attempt to sell these in classifieds before with no luck and if no one wants these I will end up taking some of the smaller parts off and scrapping the metal. I don't have much space to hold them.

Where are the frames?
If I didn't have removable glass doors, I'd source a second set of full doors, cut them down, and work to find a quick hinge pin to swap easy.
Just sold a set of doors and windshield frame from a BJ71 to our local club member, he will leave it soft top...
I actually tried to post this earlier, but mud was on a break. The window frames come off
really easily with 3-4 bolts. The front doors are the same.
