I'm working on my lower radiator hose right now. Radiator hose size is 45mm (1.75") ID and the nipple on the jonesy kit is 1.5". Overall hose lenght is needing to be 20-22" and has two elbows that are perpendicular.

Right now, it's a sloppy splice job for testing. I'm trying to slowly improve the feng shui.

I also realized I didn't have a clean way to drain the coolant, so I'm building a drain in the lower radiator.

Toyota radiator outlet is 1-5/8" OD (you could probably squeeze 1.5" hose on it).

You need a Cummins lower inlet flange with a 1.5" diameter and a 90° bend.

Then you could use any 1.5" diameter radiator hose with a 90° bend in it.

No sir. I had it custom fabricated from a blank flange I sourced off EBay.

Same thing for the upper outlet too. Aluminum t-stat housing from EBay and a 1.5" barb fitting welded on.

But I am using the Rob Bonney alternator bracket. Not the same setup OP has.

That looks good too. Mine is ok on the top but the lower has the splice job so that 90 looks like the way to go.

Thank you for sharing!!!! I'll take all the help I can get. I measured the lower radiator outlet earlier and got 1.75". I just re-measured and you're right it's 1-5/8". Thank you for pointing that out. I also was able to cram a 1.5" hose on it but right now I have a hose that's 1.75" and tapers to 1.5" and the 1.75" end also fits. There's plenty of Gate's hoses that will work as you recommended that have a 1.75" end and then taper to 1.5". For now I'm going to use a splice, but later, I will modify the intake on the motor as you did and then have one hose without a splice. Thats a great idea.




I took a piece of wire and tried to figure the radius. It looks like you need at least a center line lenght of 11-12" and a 7" radius should be sufficient.

Here's a couple of followup shots of my lower radiator hose. I had a muffler shop put a bend in a piece of 1.5" pipe. I used gates powergrip hose clamps to attach the hose to the pipe. Top hose connection (to the motor) was a 1.5" x 1.5" elbow. The bottom hose connection (to radiator) was 1.5" x 1.75".

I also put a petcock on the radiator drain.
Specs:
1) Grease Fitting, M10x1.5 mm Male x NPT 1/8Female (McMaster Carr).
2) Drainage Valve with Wing Nut Handle, 1/8 NPT Inlet and Barbed Outlet (McMaster Carr).
3) Brass elbow 1/8 NPT.

The Alpine and security system are installed (12g is for my boy JD). I used a small Alpine amp with some basic speakers. I'll add some extra speakers later as time allows. For now, I have some tunes and can operate CarPlay.

My OBD circuit was deleted so I tapped into that circuit in my fuse panel to power my radio. For the amp, I ran a circuit off my secondary fuse panel (added near battery).

I removed the fuse connector for the OBD circuit in the fuse panel and soldered it to a larger gauge wire. I was able to reinstall to the wire and route it to the radio.

Testing the 3.55 gears from PDI in Australia. I'm cruising in 4th gear at 55 mph at 2000 rpm's and 70 mph in 5th gear at 2000 rpm's.

I haven’t installed an EGT sensor. I’ll be doing that during the holidays. I’ll followup and let you know as soon as I get it installed and do some testing.

Yes sir. Thinking about mounting it on the port for the back three cylinders. Do you have any suggestions? I don't want to pull the manifold, may drill and tap while it's running.

My P7100 has been slightly leaking some fuel while driving. It runs smooth on the highway, but has a rough startup. I'm about to try and find the leak but will probably wait until January to potentially pull the pump and get it rebuilt if needed. In the meantime, I'm planning to start building a rear bumper and roof rack. I have some new toys in the shop (eastwood tube bender, Swag finger brake) and ready to build some stuff.

back three is best for sure. I always just drill most of the way through (until I can feel bit breaking through), blow out with air, and then put some grease on bit to catch rest of chips.
