Yo, wassup? Happy 2024!!Any progress on this thing over the past year?
exciting score (paid full pop but worth it!......hopeefully)
got in on the first round of Trimeki F SS headers. Nice welds, clean looking, and a flat flange. Looks good so far.
Might have to get tricky on clearances with the 68 F wide body intake runner, and will coincide with the conversion to floor shift trans. But its a piece of the story that adds up. Sometime soon i should....WILL... start building instead of just buyingI do drive it around a bitt though

So hope you are mistaken about HolleyI would highly recommend going with an areomotive pump. Every single holley pump I've installed has been LOUD. The aeromotives are much quieter. I hate my holley pump in the cab, it's all you can hear.
I have:So hope you are mistaken about Holley
I actually picked one of these up a few months ago for a cant pass up price. I do hope its not loud, as it will be sitting directly under the passenger seat in the LRA tank, and hopefully works properly
Intank retrofit pump-
https://www.holley.com/products/fue...ies/in-tank_retrofit_fuel_module/parts/12-130 Has a hydromat, gets really good reviews?
Need to add proper evap/venting to keep the tank expansion/fumes outta the cabin.. evap separator and charcoal canister is what im told by Redline will do the trick.

I have:
Holley Diecast In-Tank Retrofit Fuel Pump Modules 12-137
in my OE '78 FJ40 tank and can't hear it at all. Super quiet.
What seals did you buy and you have some pics of the install?Been one hellova summer here in the Sierra. Perfect weather and we have dodged the Fire Season so far. Fall is definitely in the air with cooler temps, and Gold is now pouring out of the Mountains. Gorgeous.
Finally got shipment of my Sniper Kit, took all summer.... luckily im in NO rush
only thing i accomplished on the 40 was adding some non-toyota trim sealing to all three doors. WHOA, what a difference. pealed out all the old rubber seals and pressed in new edge trim with decent quality rubber seals (amazon special), totally sealed up my doors and significantly quieted down the rattle can effect. SOOO nice to drive now, bet the inside/outside temps may actually change the the heater is on this winter

Thanks for that link, my 40 has something similar from who knows when. I’ve been meaning to find more but never taken the time to look.
theyre pretty thick, i had a nice gap at top of side doors, it filled them nicely but the rear hatch closes very tight now and i likely could have installed a lesser "bulbed" gasket and it would close easier. It forms well around the non-90* corners and i cut the 90*s. It does grasp the door edges so that 1/4" trim lip shows on outside. I'll upload a pic of that later. CHEAP and EASY though
